How to activate your Nexo Card.

1. Open the Nexo app Download, launch the app, and hit the 'Card' tab. 2. Activate virtual card Tap 'Activate Card' to issue your virtual card. 3. Add it to your digital wallet Choose 'Add to Wallet', follow the instructions, and spend with Apple Pay or Google Pay right away. 4. Order a physical card On the 'Card' tab, select 'Order card', confirm your details, and tap 'Confirm'.

How does the Nexo Card work?

The Nexo Card is a crypto card that can be used as credit and debit. In both modes, it connects to your available balance to provide you with liquidity for your everyday expenses, online purchases, subscriptions, and more. The following two modes can be changed at any time and as often as you’d like.

Credit Mode:

Credit Mode allows you to make purchases without having to sell your valuable crypto. Put simply, you’ll be using the crypto in your account as a collateral, while receiving funds you can spend at borrowing rates starting at 2.9%.

Credit Mode can help you retain the upside potential of your crypto while using its value in everyday life.

Debit Mode:

Debit Mode can help you grow your savings while having them available to spend at any time. It’s an easy and rewarding way to spend your cryptocurrencies and USDC, EURx, BTC and more.

The only thing you need to do is top up funds and you’re ready to spend them while earning daily compound interest. Before you spend, you can change the order in which you want to use your assets with a simple drag and drop. Alternatively, you can tap on your chosen asset to move it to the top of the priority list.

This prioritization allows you to automatically use the currency with the second highest priority when a bigger purchase depletes your primary one. You can disable any asset for spending altogether, if you want to hold it in your portfolio.

How much crypto cashback will I get?

You can receive crypto cashback on every purchase when using your Nexo Card in Credit Mode. The cashback is paid out in NEXO Tokens or Bitcoin, with the option to change your cashback currency at any time. The more NEXO Tokens you have in your account, the more cashback you will receive when using your Nexo Card, based on your Loyalty Tier. Here is the cashback for each Loyalty Tier:

Platinum: 2% in NEXO Tokens or 0.5% in BTC Gold: 1% in NEXO Tokens or 0.3% in BTC Silver: 0.7% in NEXO Tokens or 0.2% in BTC Base: 0.5% in NEXO Tokens or 0.1% in BTC

Is the Nexo Card free?

The virtual Nexo Card can be activated once you have at least $50 to your Nexo account. You can spend that balance instantly.

There’s also free shipping for the physical Nexo Card. To order a physical card, you need a portfolio balance of at least $500 and at least a Gold Loyalty Tier.

Who can order a Nexo Card?

Currently, only residents of the European Economic Area (EEA) and the UK can order a Nexo Card. To be eligible, you need to complete identity verification.

How to activate my crypto card?

Activating your virtual Nexo Card is almost instantaneous:

Open the Nexo app and tap on the 'Card' section. Tap on the 'Activate Nexo Card' button to issue your virtual card. Add the card to Apple Pay or Google Pay. You're now ready to make your first transaction. Even if you're not using Apple Pay or Google Pay, you can make purchases by using your card details.

To see your card number, expiration date and CVV/CVC, go to the Card section and tap on ‘Card details’.

You can also freeze or unfreeze your card, reveal or change its PIN, go through your transaction history, track your monthly transaction limits, and change your cashback currency – BTC or NEXO.

To order a physical Nexo Card:

Open the Nexo app and go to the ‘Card’ tab. Swipe left and tap on the ‘Order Nexo Card’ button. Follow the on-screen instructions and wait 2 to 4 weeks for your card to arrive. Once you receive your card, activate it by opening the Nexo app, and entering your 16-digit card number.

How many free ATM withdrawals am I entitled to per month?

Depending on your Loyalty Tier, you can enjoy free ATM withdrawals up to a specific amount:

Base: Up to €200 / £180 Silver: Up to €400 / £360 Gold: Up to €1,000 / £900 Platinum: Up to €2,000 / £1,800

Once you reach your free withdrawal limit, you’ll be charged a 2% fee (minimum of 1.99 EUR/GBP) per additional withdrawal until your monthly limit resets again.

Are there any foreign transaction fees?

Yes, the respective foreign transaction (FX) fees depend on the day of the week of the transaction:

FX Fees on Weekdays

EEA/UK/CH: 0.2% ROW: 2%

FX Fees on Weekends

EEA/UK/CH: 0.7% ROW: 2.5%
